Ok, I’m going to be honest here, this book isn’t a long read, and it’s not a complex one. There was nothing mind blowing and it didn’t change my outlook on life. So why am I recommending it? It depends on where you are at the moment. If your at the time in your life where you want to sit down a really focus on something that will be life changing then this book isn’t for you. However, if you’ve got a lot going on get this book. At the time I was listening to this book via Audible, I was working at the Hospital on the weekends, still studying an MSc full time, and writing code as an intern at a central London financial tech company. At this point in time, I would dash from the Holborn office to UCL to see my supervisor on my lunch break. Because this book is simple to listen to, it was the ideal choice at the time. It’s all about how tribes of people can and are changing the world because of their passion about a subject, or cause. It was like having a motivational speaker whisper encouragement in my ear on those tube journeys. This book won’t make you a more interesting person at those dinner parties. It’s caffeine for the soul on those work commutes.
